Bressingham Steam & Gardens
Bressingham (Near Diss). A varied selection of railways in the colourful grounds of Bressingham Gardens. Includes a standard gauge line ½ mile (0.8 km) in length; 2 ft (610 mm) gauge 2½ miles; 15 in (381 mm) gauge over 1¼ miles (2.2 km); and a 10¼ inch (260 mm) gauge miniature railway ¾ mile (1.2 km) in length. Almost entirely steam haulage. Locomotive footplate rides are offered on the standard gauge line.

Colne Valley Railway

There is also a Miniature Railway at Castle Hedingham about 660 yards (600m) in length, 7¼ in (184 mm) gauge, usually petrol or battery electric hauled with occasional visiting steam locomotives.
East Anglia Railway Museum

Lynnsport Miniature Railway
Lynnsport & Leisure Park, King’s Lynn. Line about 200 yards (630 m) in length. 3½ in (89 mm) / 5 in (127 mm) / 7¼ in (184 mm) gauge, steam or battery electric hauled. Expected to close some time during 2015 for relocation to a new site as part of the existing route is required for a road scheme.

Mid-Norfolk Railway
Abbey station, Wymondham to Dereham: 11 miles (17.6 km). Proposed extension to County School, a further 6 miles (9.6 km). Possible future extension to Fakenham, a total distance of about 23 miles (37 km). Standard gauge. Diesel hauled or diesel railcars, with some steam hauled services.
Mid-Suffolk Light Railway
Brockford station, Wetheringsett, near Stowmarket. Line about ¼ mile (0.4 km) in length. Extension proposed to Wilby Halt, a further ¼ mile (0.5 km). Standard gauge. Usually steam hauled.
Nene Valley Railway
Peterborough to Wansford: 8 miles (12.8 km). Rolling stock includes vintage material from continental Europe. Standard gauge. Steam and diesel hauled. Nene Valley’s Thomas was named by the Rev W Awdry (author of the Thomas the Tank Engine books) in person and is the only operating Thomas that is not part of the Mattel franchise.
Norfolk Orbital Railway
Long term project to create an 83 mile (133 km) circular railway route including lines of the Mid-Norfolk Railway, North Norfolk Railway and Network Rail. The primary focus of the project is to establish a route from the North Norfolk Railway terminus at Holt to meet with an extension of the Mid-Norfolk Railway at Fakenham.
