There are no railways in Saint Lucia today.
In the past, at least four sugar cane plantations, some with associated distilleries, had railway systems. Remains of one of these, including a couple of locomotives, can be seen at the present day Saint Lucia Distillers premises, the former Roseau factory near Jacmel.
Fort Rodney on Pigeon Island had a funicular railway used for hauling fuel from a wharf up to the fort. The concrete foundations remain.
