A short distance south of the A610 Nottingham to Ambergate road, between Eastwood and Codnor.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: hourly from Derby, Heanor, Eastwood and Hucknall. Sundays: no service. Also at Langley Mill (about 1km): Mondays to Saturdays: frequent from Heanor and Eastwood; 4 per hour from Nottingham; 2 per hour from Ripley; hourly from Derby and Mansfield. Sundays: 2 per hour from Heanor, Eastwood, Ripley and Nottingham.
TRAIN: at Langley Mill (about 1km): Every Day (except Sunday mornings, when there is no service): every 1 to 2 hours from Norwich, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Liverpool. Also a few through services from London.
CAR: usually easy to park near the Church.
WELL DRESSING: two, at St John's Church. The Church is located at the junction of Cromford Road and Aldercar Lane.
WELL IN THE MAKING: the main dressing is made over the course of the previous few days, at the Church.
