BUS: Mondays to Fridays: 4 or 5 services per day from Sheffield and Castleton, 2 from Bakewell. Saturdays: at least 1 service every 2 hours from Castleton; 4 services per day from Sheffield, 2 from Bakewell. Sundays: at least 1 service per hour from Castleton; 3 services per day from Sheffield, 2 from Glossop, 1 from Chesterfield. Also at the Marquis of Granby hotel on the A625 (about 1km): Every Day: at least 1 service per hour from Sheffield and Castleton.
TRAIN: (station at southern end of village, about 1km from Well Dressing): Every Day: every 1 to 2 hours (Saturdays hourly) from Sheffield and Manchester.
CAR: it is usually fairly easy to park in the village.
WELL DRESSINGS: two, at Fidlers Well, near the centre of the village (look out for a small open space with trees).
