BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: 1 per hour from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Buxton. Sundays: no service.

TRAIN: at Whaley Bridge (2 km): Every Day: at least 1 per hour from Buxton, Stockport and Manchester or at Chinley (2 km): Every Day: every 1 to 2 hours (Saturdays hourly) from Sheffield and Manchester.

CAR: park in the canal basin car park in front of the Navigation Inn.

WELL IN THE MAKING: the main dressing is made during the course of the preceding week in a shed next to the Navigation Inn.
