On the A6 between Ambergate and Matlock.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: frequent from Matlock; at least 2 services per hour from Bakewell and Wirksworth; hourly from Nottingham, Derby, Belper, Buxton, Crich and Bonsall; every 2 hours from Alfreton and Manchester. Sundays: at least 2 services per hour from Matlock and Bakewell; at least 1 service per hour from Belper; hourly from Nottingham, Derby and Buxton; every 1 to 2 hours from Alfreton, Crich and Swanwick; every 2 hours from Ripley and Manchester; 4 services per day from Ashbourne and Chesterfield; 3 services per day from Hucknall and Ilkeston.
TRAIN: Every Day: every 1 to 2 hours from Derby, Belper and Matlock.
CAR: there is public car parking in the Market Square and on street nearby, but it is often busy and difficult to find a space. Further car parking is available near Cromford Mill (opposite side of the A6) but this can also be busy at times.
WELL DRESSINGS: three, at the Methodist Church on Water Lane (the A5012 Via Gellia near its junction with the Market Place).
WELLS IN THE MAKING: the dressings are made during the course of the preceding week in the Methodist Church Hall.
