On a minor road about 3km east of its junction with the B5053 between Warslow and the A523. Can also be reached via steep, narrow roads from Waterhouses or Alstonefield.

BUS: nearest regular bus service is at Waterhouses (about 6km): Mondays to Saturdays: 6 services per day from Ashbourne, Leek and Macclesfield; Sundays: 3 services per day from Derby, Ashbourne and Leek. Derbyshire Wayfarer valid on journeys to/from Ashbourne or Derby.

CAR: there is a public car park near the Parish Church.
