About 10 miles (16km) southeast of Sheffield, on the B6058, which runs between the A618 and the A6135.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: 4 per hour from Halfway; 2 per hour from Sheffield and Crystal Peaks; hourly from Meadowhall, Rotherham, Harthill, Worksop and Chesterfield. Sundays: 2 per hour from Halfway; hourly from Sheffield, Crystal Peaks, Rotherham, Harthill and Chesterfield.
TRAM: the South Yorkshire Supertram terminus at Halfway is about 1.5km to the west (for bus connections, see above).
CAR: use the layby on Sheffield Road next to the Methodist Church, or the nearby shopping centre car park.
WELL DRESSINGS two, at the Methodist Church Hall, on south side of Sheffield Road (B6058) near its junction with Bridge Street. One of these was new on this site for 2008, having been located in the Memorial Garden on High Street in previous years.
