On the A56 north east of Chester, about 2km from M53 J12.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: two per hour from Chester, Runcorn and Halton Hospital; hourly from Warrington. Sundays: no service.
CAR: at quiet times it is usually possible to park on the grass verge near the Well. Proceed to the Church at the end of the lane in order to turn. At busier times, park at the Church and walk back.
WELL DRESSING: three separate boards, at St Plegmund's Well on Plemstall Lane. Plemstall Lane leads from the A56 at the north end of Mickle Trafford towards the hamlet of Plemstall.
WELL IN THE MAKING: the dressing is made during the course of the preceding week in the Scout Hut, next to the village school on School Lane.
