About 8km southwest of Ashbourne, just off the B5033 between the A515 Ashourne to Lichfield and the B5032 Ashbourne to Cheadle roads.
BUS: nearest regular service at Ellastone on the B5032 (about 3km): Mondays to Saturdays: every 2 hours from Ashbourne and Uttoxeter (Derbyshire Wayfarer valid on all journeys, including to and from Uttoxeter); Sundays: no service.
CAR: approaching from the east on the B5033, take the turning on the left before the village, signposted "De Ville and Lear, Alternative route for high vehicles." From the west or south, follow the signs to Roston village and take the turning opposite the Roston Inn.
WELL DRESSINGS: one, on Lid Lane outside the Primary School (follow the directions given above).
DEMONSTRATION: the Well Dressing is petalled over the course of the preceding week, during the day, at the School.
