BUS: Nearest bus service is at Starkholmes (about 1km, very steep hill): Mondays to Saturdays: hourly, Sundays: 3 per day from Matlock, Cromford and Bonsall.

CAR: approach from Starkholmes on the minor road between Matlock and Cromford (very steep hill), from Tansley on the Matlock to Alfreton road, or from Lea and Holloway on the Cromford to Crich road. Park in the field provided near the main Well Dressing.

• near the junction of Riber Road and Carr Lane, oppsite the entrance to Riber Hall
• on the northwest side of Riber Road, about 100m into the village
• facing Riber Road, in the courtyard of Riber Manor (not to be confused with Riber Hall)
