About 1km from the A38 Derby to Mansfield road at its junction with the A610 to Ambergate.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: frequent service from Derby, Belper and Heanor; 3 per hour from Alfreton and Mansfield; 2 per hour from Nottingham; hourly from Aldercar and Crich; every 2 hours from Matlock. Sundays: hourly from Derby, Belper, Alfreton, Mansfield and Nottingham.
CAR: parking difficult in town centre at busy times, but on street parking just out of the centre possible.
WELL DRESSING: one small well dressing around the ornamental fountain on the side of the Town Hall facing the Market Place bus stops.
