Just off the A52 about 5km east of Derby City Centre.

BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: frequent service, Sundays: every ½ hour from Derby.

TRAIN: (station about 1km south of village): Mondays to Saturdays: around 6 per day from Derby, Nottingham and Manchester Airport. Sundays: no service.

CAR: after leaving the A52, follow the signs to the church and park in the car park on Church Street.

WELL DRESSING: two, in the grounds of St Werburgh's Nursing Home (take the path to your right near the entrance to the church).
This is a welcome return to the arrangement of previous years, in 2000 (only) the well dressings formed a part of the Millennium Street Market and proved difficult of access.

DEMONSTRATION: the Well Dressing is petalled during the course of the preceding few days, from 2p.m. at St Werburgh's Nursing Home.
