Macclesfield is on the A523 Stockport to Leek road, and the A537 from Buxton via Hollinsclough (Cat and Fiddle). Sutton Lane Ends is located at the junction of minor roads about 2.5km southeast of Macclesfield town centre. Take the A523 Leek road southwards from the town centre and look out for a turning to the left.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: one or two services per hour from Macclesfield; Sundays: no service. Every day: Macclesfield has good bus services from major towns in Cheshire, Derbyshire and Greater Manchester. Some services from Derbyshire allow the use of Derbyshire Wayfarer.
TRAIN: Macclesfield has frequent train services to all parts.
CAR: at quiet times it may be possible to park on-street near The Pleasance (taking care not to obstruct neighbouring premises) but, when busy, cars should be parked in the church car park off Church Lane, Sutton Lane Ends.
WELL DRESSINGS: in 2007 there were two (including a small dressing made by children), on The Pleasance (village green), behind the War Memorial.
