On the A628 about 2.5km east of its junction with the A57 Sheffield to Manchester road at Hollingworth.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: 2 per hour from Glossop and Hadfield; hourly from Manchester and Hyde. Sundays: hourly from Glossop, Hadfield and Manchester.
TRAIN: at Hadfield (1.5km): Every Day: every ½ hour from Manchester and Glossop.
CAR: usually possible to park near the well.
WELL DRESSING: one, on the Old Road, about 100m from its junction with the A628 at the eastern end of the village.
