About 5km south of Chesterfield on the A61 Chesterfield to Alfreton Road.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: frequent services to Chesterfield and Danesmoor, 3 per hour to Alfreton, hourly to Derby and Nottingham, 3 or 4 per day to Matlock. Sundays: hourly to Chesterfield and Danesmoor, every 2 hours to Alfreton, Derby and Nottingham.
CAR: You may park in the Royal Oak car park for the purpose of viewing the Well Dressing there, but please ask permission if you plan a longer stay.
WELL DRESSINGS: one, in the car park of the Royal Oak pub, at the roundabout on Derby Road. This was a revived site for 2008, replacing one at the Methodist Church. For 2008, it is hoped that there will be dressings at both locations.
