On the B6465 Ashford road about 1km south of its junction with the A623 Baslow to Chapel-en-le-Frith road at Wardlow Mires.
BUS: Mondays to Saturdays: irregular service, Sundays: 3 per day, from Bakewell and Castleton. Alternatively, from Wardlow Mires on A623 (1km): Mondays to Saturdays: hourly to Buxton, every 2 hours from Chesterfield, Sheffield and Meadowhall; 3 per day from Manchester; Sundays: 4 per day from Chesterfield; 3 per day from Sheffield and Manchester; 2 per day from Meadowhall.
CAR: there is usually no difficulty in parking on the road.
WELL DRESSING: one, on the side of the main village street, a short distance below the church.
WELL IN THE MAKING: the dressing is made during the preceding few days, during the day, in the Village Hall.
