Just off the A609 between Smalley and Ilkeston, on the minor road from Oakwood to Ilkeston via Stanley.
BUS: Every Day: at least 1 per hour from Derby and Ilkeston.
CAR: during the Well Dressing festivities on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, The Village is closed to traffic and car parking is provided at the School. At other times, use the car park next to the shopping centre in The Village.
WELL DRESSINGS: varies from year to year: in 2008 there were about 11. These were situated along the Village (between the entrance to the churchyard and School Square) and around School Square itself.
